A Panel discussion with distinguished composers Antón García Abril, Jose Luis Turina, Consuelo Diez, as well as singer Nan Maro Babakhanian and scholar Reynaldo Fernández Manzano. Moderated by Antoni Pizà.

Three of Spain’s leading composers are invited to discuss their compositions performed in the February 21st concert at Carnegie Hall. Antón García Abril whose featured work sets Arab andalucian poets, Consuelo Díez whose work invokes an intrinsically Spanish sound and José Luis Turina whose songs include a traditional “Saeta” discuss the flamenco influence in Spanish Classical music.
