Prestigious Scholars Join the International Granados Committee

May 6, 2014: The Foundation is excited to announce that two new scholars have been added to the International Board of Advisors for the Granados Centenary and Anniversary. Emilio Casares Rodicio is a Spanish musicologist, professor, and director of the Complutense Institute of Musical Studies (Instituto Complutense de Ciencias Musicales). Alvaro Torrente is one of the world’s foremost experts on Spanish baroque music, especially the villancico genre. Both are professors at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.

Rodicio and Torrente are joining William Aaron Clark,  Miriam Perandones Lozando, John Watson Milton, Marry Ann Newman, Mònica Pagès, Douglas Riva, Anna Tonna, and Antoni Pizà, Paulo Pinamonti, Mustsumi Fukushima, and Patricia Caicedo.  More details are sure to follow.
